After the war, Kenneth came back to Hawaii to live. He helped the family at the fishpond. He passed the test to be a certified engineer and worked at Pearl Harbor as an engineer. He was one of the project engineers working on Tripler Army Hospital.

When hecame back to Hawaii, he went to work at Pearl Harbor. He was an engineer in electrical in the next building. I used to talk to him. Your dad was a very nice person... I got along really good with him. I once asked him, "Will you please buy me a 2nd hand car?" He went to Veterans and bought me a Studebaker. ~ Harry Young
